Aug 12th EOD

AM Bekah

Stefan came by and trained me on test rides and better sales prep.

PM Gina

I have been putting the la pierre on rack opposite of sign so that sign is visible.

Had a long chat with tyla at orchard kitchen. They are happy to chat about farm bike tour idea. they would like people to come to their cooking class versus catering most likely. depends on if the class runs.

People at eagles nest inn are super excited. They had guests arriving at the time that I rang their doorbell. Probably Will come To Rent tmrw.

Another bike farm tour option is chocolate farm.

  1. Gina, I talked to Stefan yesterday about the ebike parked next to the sign. He too likes the ebike on the other side for visibility but I am finding that when an ebike isn't there, people park their regular bikes there. Another thing to be mindful of is the center walk way. The commons has asked that we keep that clear for customers. It feels really congested for me personally when our bikes and others are all parked in the walkway. I'm really flexible and happy to park it wherever but I've been having success engaging customers with it near the sign.

  2. First I am curious if you both get notified when there is a new comment--I got an email so that was great.
Second, regarding this issue of rack and sign.
    The sign is temporary anyway.
In the meantime, SWC has given us use of one rack. Let's use the one that is currently NOT by the sign. It's okay if the sign gets blocked for now. Just make sure the bike in the rack is furthest to the edge as possible. That rack rotates so that you can move the bike as far as possible to the edge.
Yes bikes should never block the walkway.
